A
  • FBC – normocytic anaemia, ↑ white cell count
  • ESR/CRP
  • Hypoalbuminaemia (if severe)
  • Blood cultures – if septiceamia suspected/stool samples
  • Colonoscopy/endoscopy
  • CT/MRI/ultrasound of the small bowel

  • Strictureplasty – alleviate bowel narrowing due to scar tissue build up
  • Colectomy
