Holes in the exoskeleton called spiracles lead to tubes called Trachea that penetrate inside the body bringing air to every tissue

A
*Fluid at the end of Tracheoles to dissolve gasses making gas exchange more efficient
* Many Tracheoles to maximize surface area for gas exchange

How have desert insects adapted to their habitat?
A
- Hairs over the spiracles to lessen evaporation
- Some close their spiracles and breathe via air stored in their air sacs
