Steroids don’t work
Perfenidone and nintedanib slow the worsening and progression of disease
No cure
Lung transplant not available to most due to disease primarily affecting >75 Y/O and associated risks
Hypersensitivity pneumonitis
Caused by irritants like feather bedding, spores and mold
Treatment involves removing source of issue
