A
- Disconnected Broad Street pump where majority of cases cames from and outbreak stooped.
- Proved it was not miasma - brewery nearby had no deaths (only drank beer); other pumps did not spread cholera but those who drank from Broad Street pump did.

A
- Demonstrated the idea that cholera is spread by water not miasma during the 1854 Broad Street cholera epidemic.
- Led to discovery that cis-pit was leaking into pump.

Insignificance of Snow.
A
- Inability to explain why meant people were skeptical and unwilling to believe.
- Did not ultimately stop the spread of cholera - Chadwick’s reports influenced policies towards conditions helping spread of disease and Balzagette’s sewers cleaned up the water and ended cholera, unintentionally.
