  • Disconnected Broad Street pump where majority of cases cames from and outbreak stooped.
  • Proved it was not miasma - brewery nearby had no deaths (only drank beer); other pumps did not spread cholera but those who drank from Broad Street pump did.

Insignificance of Snow.

A
  • Inability to explain why meant people were skeptical and unwilling to believe.
  • Did not ultimately stop the spread of cholera - Chadwick’s reports influenced policies towards conditions helping spread of disease and Balzagette’s sewers cleaned up the water and ended cholera, unintentionally.
