  • mags court
  • hear summary matters and some tribal either way
  • decide verdict + sentance
  • complete same function as mags but are qualified and paid
  • can sit in county court
  • previously a solicitor or barrister

  • experts in a particular feild
  • sit on kings bench division/ chancery division/ family divison
