• FANBOYS - for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so
• He completed the lesson and received a certificate.
• Can use a comma before the conjunction e.g. She is tall, and I am short.

Subordinate conjunctions

Answer 2

• A subordinate conjunction joins a main clause and a subordinate clause.
• E.g. You may not visit her unless you have a good reason.
• These conjunctions can hide in the front or in the middel.
• When in front, a comma keeps its place in the middle.
