TYPES OF CONFLICT

RESOLUTION
the unfolding or solution of a complicated issue in a story
PLOT
a literary term used to describe the events that make up a story or the main part of a story.
TONE
the attitude a writer takes towards a subject or character
ALLITERATION
the repetition of first consonants in a group of words
REPETITION
repeats the same words or phrases a few times to make an idea clearer.
RISING/FALLING ACTION
the buildup before the climax, and the resolving of the problem/climax afterwards

the use of symbols to signify ideas and qualities by giving them symbolic meanings that are different from their literal sense
