How can you identify the different levels of the spinal cord

Cervical-Lots of gray matter, plenty of white matter
Thoracic-Not much gray matter, lateral horn
Lumbar-Lots of gray matter, less white matter
Sacral-Little white matter

Overall, more overall higher up and rounder lower down

Question 2

What are the various subdivisions of the brain? Which cavities do they contain?

Answer 2

Forebrain-Cerebral hemispheres (contain lateral ventricles, one on each side) and Diencephalon (3rd ventricle)

Midbrain-no division (cerebral aqueduct)

Hindbrain-Pons, cerebellum (4th ventricle is between them), medulla oblongata
