Components needed for anaerobic jar?

A

Chemical Gas generator packet (filled with sodium bicarbonate and sodium Borohydride). The combination together react with water and produce Hydrogen and Co2 gases.

Paper indicator strip: saturated in methylene blue to confirm the absence of oxygen.

Catalyst (palladium): for the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to produce water.
Removal of free oxygen to produce water create an anaerobic condition ( as evidenced by a white indicator strip and moisture in jar)
