FITT Principles

A

-Frequency: ~3-5 days/week
-Intensity: Moderate to vigorous for benefits (50-60 vo2max for mod, 70-80 for vigorous)
-Time: 20-60 minutes, not included warm-up/cool-down. Total of 75 vigorous minutes or 150 moderate minutes
-Type: Any form of rhythmic physical activity which uses large muscle groups
