Q

Purpose of isometric strength training

A

-Ability to isolate a muscle group to determine strength/weakness
-Assess changes in strength after training program
-Assess mobility and muscle strength of individuals with orthopedic problems since PT isnt required to move an external weighted force & less dynamic strain on joints/tendons
-Measures force production
