Road

Includes a street, motorway, beach and a place to which the public have access, whether as of right or not. All bridges, culverts, ferries and fords forming part of a road or street or motorway, or places referred to in previous point. All sites at which vehicles may be weighed for the purposes of this act or any other enactment.

A vehicle drawn or propelled by mechanical power, includes trailers.

Vehicle

A contrivance equipped with wheels, tracks or revolving runners on which it moves or is moved

Inconsiderate/careless driving

Operates a vehicle on a road carelessly OR without reasonable consideration for other road users

Inconsiderate - inattention or thoughtless actions as well as deliberate ones which are inconsiderate

Careless - falling below standards of a reasonable prudent motorist

Dangerous/reckless driving

Operates a motor vehicle on a road recklessly or in a manner/speed which may be dangerous to any person

Dangerous - manner/speed which may be dangerous to any person

Reckless - knowingly disregarding ones duty as a driver or deliberately running an unjustifiable risk of injury or collision

Power of arrest, requires intent for reckless
