Era 1
Pre-industrial. Most organizations were small and run by a single individual who hired friends and relatives. Small size led to a stable nature
Era 2
Emergence of hierarchy and bureaucracy. Organizations became larger, requiring formalized SOPs.
Era 3
World no longer stable. Extreme competition. Era of the team leader and change leader.
Era 4
Digital age. Change happens at fast pace. Need for agile leadership. Leaders must constantly improve, change and adapt.
Define agile leadership.
Giving up control in the traditional sense and encouraging the growth and development of others.

What is derailment?
When a manager with a good track record plateaus and can no longer advance due to a mismatch between job needs and personal skills
