What is the process of teaching a new behaviour?

A

Prompt animal into correct body position, or capture
Mark and reinforce
Once animal is in correct body position, say cue, mark and reinforce
Repeat for a few repetitions
Transition to cue word, learner moves into position then mark and reinforce
