Encompasses a person’s learned beliefs, thoughts, behaviors, their values, customs, and traditions, their communication style, their views on relationships, and different ways they interact with others
Culture
Distinct qualities, backgrounds, characteristics and beliefs which make us different from each other either as individuals or as groups
Diversity
An identified group of individuals of the same species who have identifiable biological traits passed from one generation to the next
Race
A culture, linguistic, religious, racial, or national heritage which identifies an individual with a group of individuals
Ethnicity
An identified group of individuals which has little power or representation in a given society
Minority
A particular system of faith and worship
Religion
The length of time that a person has lived
Age
The state of being male or female
Gender
A person’s sexual is in relation to the gender to which they are attracted.
Sexual orientation
An individual’s or family’s economic or social position in relation to others based on income, education, and occupation
Socioeconomic circumstances
A condition that impairs, interferes, or limits a person’s ability to engage in certain a tasks or action or participate in daily activities
Mental and physical disabilities
A person serving predominantly full time in the US armed forces and their families who live in military environments that often have their own unique subculture and lifestyle apart from the general population

Attitudes and beliefs we have about a person or group on a conscious level
