what is behaviourism?
behaviourism is a psychological perspective whose explanations about learning are based on the relationship between observable behaviours and environmental events rather than internal processes
what is the theory of learning (behaviourism)?
the behaviourists endeavour to find a way for learners to produce a particular response(behaviour) and then reinforce that response
what determines our behaviour?
the environment and how we perceive it
what determines our response to particular events?
our past experiences will have an impact in how we see and respond to things
what is a stimulus?
a cue that drives or impels a person to respond
what is a response
an act or thought in response to a cue
what is reinforcement ?
a specific event that strengthens the tendency for a response to be repeated
what is drive ?
refers to any wrong stimulus that implies or motivates an action.
