2- Marsupials ( have nipples, very short, gestation period, development completed in mother punch)
3-Eutherian Mammals( placenta)

A

-Hair/fur: pelage
-Reversals w/ scales Ex:armadillos
-glandular skin: sweat, scent, sebaceous & mammary glands)
-middle ear bone (incus, malleus,stapes,)
-alveolar lungs (expands surface area)
-fleshy external ears (help filter sound into on canal)
-4 chamber heart & endothermic
-milk from mammary glands

Monotreme characteristics

A

-most primitive extant mammals
-oviparous
-through modified sweat glands
-waste/reproduction openings cure a single duct (Cloaca) no urinary bladder, no placenta
-lack teeth as adults (Raspy pads)in the mouth has certain and process
