What is inattention/neglect?

A
  • Disorder of attention
  • Can be visual/ auditory/ sensory
  • More common with right parietal stroke (post. parietal cortex)
  • Present in 40% of all strokes
  • Management: PT and OT to improve attention to neglected side plus environmental adaptations
