Q

What are some methods for evaluating the recruitment function?

A
  • How many recruits are needed? If large amounts - pursue advertising to gain many applicants. If few required - perhaps you go to agency to attract 1 person perfect for the job
  • What is the skill level required? If it is a certain niche perhaps turn to a professional association
  • What sources are available in the area? Rural areas may not have the option of having a contracting agency nearby
  • What has worked in the past?
  • What is the budget?
  • Are their labor agreements in place that specify the recruitment options? (must pursue only internal applicants)
