Q

Problems with biological species concept?

A
  1. Only applies to sexually reproducing species
  2. Suggests that two different species would never mate and produce offspring
  3. Ecological species concept: Species is a set of organisms adapted to particular resource set (niche)
  4. Phylogenetic species concept: evolutionary history
