what are the common warning signs of vertebrobasilar ischemia?
A
- dizziness, nausea –> vestibular nuclei, cerebellum or inner ear
- diplopia, disconjugate gaze–> supranuclear or infanuclear eye movement pathways
- blurred vision, visual disturbances–eye movement pathways, visual cortex
- dysarthria, dysphagia–corticobulbar pathways or brainstem cranial nerve nuclei
- bilateral/perioral numbness, tingling-long somatosen. pathways or trigeminal system
