 Gives owner exclusive right to make copies of a creative work
 Free and automatic
 Distinguished small part copied is enough to breach CP laws
 Last 70 years after death of designer then falls into the public domain
Once the copyright has expired, the work is considered to be in the public domain. This means that anyone is free to use that work.
