- Help reduce poverty through remittances
- Support development by speading skills
- Bring stability to a country if migrants fill important jobs.
- Cause community conflict if local feel threatened or competition for jobs.
- Lead to brain drain, when smart and skilled individuals leave their home country making it harder for that country to grow and improve.

Provide an example where migration can increase country interdependence.
A
In the 2000s. many wealthy Russians moved to London or bought expensive homes there. This helped the UK economy and house prices lifted. Property developers and sellers in London made a lot of money and relied on Russian buyers. This benefited the Russians aswell as London was seen as a safe place to invest their money.
