Q

conclusion

A

genetic factors in an adopted child can interact with environmental influences within the adoptive family to produce behaviour and if such things are known about, there can be intervention to alleviate the issue

Q

:) large sample size

A

used a sample of 360 adoptive triads, of birth parents the adoptive parents and the child twins. also they used a correlational analysis to check the demographics of the different parts of the sample to ensure similarity to the target population. T/F the sample can be seen to be representative so the findings that behaviour is influenced by both nature and nurture can be generalised to the target population

Q

:) range of methods used

A

leve et al used a range of methods to conduct their study including questionnaires given before the interviews ao the responses could be cross referenced. also they collected cortisol three times throughout the study which helps with reliability t/f the researchers could use triangulation to check the validity and reliability of their findings that behaviour is influenced by both nature and nurture
