What is biological gender?
Often refers to the physiological characteristics that distinguish male, female, and intersex individuals. These characteristics include chromosomes, hormones, reproductive organs, and other body parts.
What is gender expression?
How a person presents gender outwardly, through behaviour, clothing, voice or perceived characteristics
What is transgender?
It is a term that describes people whose gender identity, or their internal sense of being male, female, or something else, does not match the sex they were assigned at birth
What is gender dysphoria?
A term used to describe the distress a person experiences when their gender identity does not align with the sex assigned to them at birth.
