Point of View

A

The perspective the story is told from.

  • First Person: The story is told from the viewpoint of a character using “I” and “me”.
  • Second Person: The story addresses the reader directly using “you”.
  • Third Person Limited: The story is told from the perspective of a single character, using “he,” “she,” or “they,” and the narrator knows only their thoughts and feelings.
  • Third Person Omniscient: The story is told from a god-like perspective, where the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all characters.
  • Third Person Objective: The story is told as an objective observer, reporting on events and actions without revealing character thoughts.
