What is “logic”?
A
The study of reasoning and arguments. It seeks to evaluate arguments for validity, soundness and strength

What is an argument?
A
Is a set of statements where some premises are intended to support the conclusion.

Deductive reasoning
A
Where a conclusion is impossible to be false if the statements that lead to it are true.
- Ex: syllogisms

Inductive reasoning
A
Where the conclusion is improbable to be false, but it could be even if the statements are all true.
- Ex: predictions

Pure hypothetical syllogism
A
- “If A, then B”
- “If B, then C”
