A

observation: inflammation, bruising.
palpation: tenderness, swelling, oedema, displacement. Feeling for any fracture at a specific vertebrae. the patient is a removal person and there could be potential microtrauma from the heavy lifting.

Nerual integrity: dermatomal/ myotomal/ reflex, S2 ruling out a serious spinal pathology such as a compressed nerve root.

cluster test: distraction, thigh thrust, sacral thrust and compression for sacroiliac pain laslett et al 2005 says all 4 needed but stop when 2 positive

straight leg raise: lumbar radicular pain caused by a herniated disc, mechancially stressed the lumbosacral nerve roots and therefore detects disc herniation person et al 2012
