• If new diagnosis –> 1 year
• If diagnosed but still high –> 1 time 3 month certificate

• Treat and give 1 time 3 month certificate
• If controlled at end of 3 months –> 1 year certification

• Once controlled, may certify every 6 months

Amputation + functional prosthesis
- “accompanied by SPE”
- driver applies for SPE and cannot drive until granted
