A
  1. If both are elevated – normal muscle usage or injury

2. If AST is elevated but CK is not – liver problems not muscle

A

Abnormally high levels seen in diseases with abnormal cholesterol metabolism

  • hyperthyroidism
  • hyperadrenocoticism (Cushing’s Disease)
