DNA is:
long fragile strands that live inside the nucleus. and are covered in a protective coating.
Ho/mol/o/gous pairs are:
Chromosomes that look similar but have subtle differences (because one comes from the mother and the other comes from the father)

46 and that number is divided in half to make homologous pairs.

dominant traits are:
the one of the 2 traits that we get for everything that is dominant.
recessive traits are;
the one of the 2 traits that we get for everything that is not seen.
