Abortion law in Aus varies across states/ territories but it is legal under certain circumstances and must be done by a registered medical professional.

The WHO recognises that all women have the “human right to decide freely and responsibly… the number, spacing and timing of her children and to have the information and means to do so.”
What is a surgical procedure?
Is usually a safe and straightforward day procedure that involves removing the lining and contents of the uterus. The procedure takes 15 minutes, but you’ll need to be in the clinic for 4 hours.
What is a medical procedure?
A low-risk alternative to surgery used for ending pregnancies earlier than 9 weeks.
The first step involves taking. pill that blocks hormones for pregnancy.
The second step is when medicine is taken that causes the contents to flow out of the uterus.
