3.the Quran is a guide for life
muslim beliefs about angels
1.Angels record deeds. Raqib and Atid are assigned to every person (one to record bad deeds and one to record good deeds) to presented on the Day of Judgement.
2.Angels have specific roles. for example the angel Jibril delivers revelations.
3.Angels are created by Allah. they do not have free will and made of light.
angels quote
“they do not disobey Allah in what he commands them but do what they are commanded”
arguments for “without angels there would be no islam”
Angels delivered the Quran. The angel Jibril revealed the Quran to PBUH.
Belief in angels is part of the six articles of faith. denying the importance of angels in islam would be going against a huge part of the religion.
arguments against “without angels there would be no islam”
Allah is the true source of Islam as he created everything.
Prophets, especially Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), are key figures in Islam. Without the Prophet to receive and spread the message, Islam would not exist, even if angels were involved.
quote about Allah being the creator
“Allah is the creator of all things and he is the maintainer of everything”
arguments for “tawhid is the most important belief”
Tawhid is the foundation of Islam-underpins all other Islamic beliefs and practices.
withiout tawhid the religion loses meaning -Muslims worship only to Allah
“ He is Allah the one”
Tawhid is part of the Shahadah- first of the five pillars-entry point into the faith
arguments against “tawhid is the most important belief”
belief in prophets is equally important-Islam teaches that believing in prophets especially PBUH is essential. without the prophets the message of islam would not have been understood or delivered
Akhirah could be seen as the most important belief as it guides Muslims how to act morally and how to get into paradise
beliefs about Al-Qadr
1.Allah’s knowledge and decree-Muslims believe that Allah knows everything from the beginning to the end of time and has written down all the events in the Book of Decrees
2.divine plan-everything that happens in the universe including human actions is part of Gods plan
3.humans still have free will. while god knows everything humans are still responsible for their choices.
two reasons why Muslims believe in al-qadr
- Muslims believe that it shows how Allah is all-knowing and all powerful. This means that Allah knows everything that will happen which proves His greatness and control over all things.
2.They also believe in it as it is one of the Six articles of faith in Sunni Islam. Accepting it is a key part of being a true Muslim and shows submission to Gods will.
al-qadr importance quote:
“Indeed, We have created everything, perfectly preordained.”
muslim beliefs about judgment

the immanence of Allah is important as it shows Allah is near and Muslims can turn to him at all times.
they are reflected in Allahs ninety-nine names for example ar- Raheem the Mercificul
three ways sunni muslims express their belief in the six beliefs today
one way sunni muslims express their six beliefs today is by worshipping only Allah and avoiding shirk.
another way sunni muslims express their belief in the six beliefs today is by following the example of prophet Muhammad.
lastly another way sunni muslims express their six belief is by living a moral and responsible life.
quote about the imams
“obey Allah, the messenger and those in authority among you”
the importance of the five roots
they are important as it teaches that the Imams are divinely appointed to guide the Muslim community after the prophet. they also act as role models.
they are also important as they are the foundation of islamic beliefs and understand their duties towards Allah. for example Allah is one and has no shaping partners.
why is Allah described as immanent
Muslims believe that Allah is immanent because he is always present
explain two ways belief in predestination affects the life of a Muslim?
It makes Muslims responsible for their actions they perform on the basis of their free will so they strive to please Allah with every word and action.
it makes believers courageous because they know that the span of their lifetime is predestinated by Allah.
