Character
A character is made up of appearance, actions, relationships, dialogue, thoughts, and opinion of other characters
Protagonist
The main character whom the events of the plot revolve around
Generally good guy 😇
Antagonist
A character, group or institution to which opposes the protagonist
Plot
Events that make up a story
Cause and Effect
Climax
The point in the story that generates most intrest
Conflict
The struggle or battle in a narrative
Dialogue
A written or spoken conversational exchange between two or more people.
Subplot
A secondary plot that is a supporting side story for the main plot
Setting
The time, location and everything in which a story takes place
Theme
A broad idea, message or moral of a story
Style
The manner in which the author tells a story
Symbolism
Any object or person that represents something else
Imagery
Refers to descriptive language that evokes emotional responses
Emotive language
To draw emotions of the reader to make them feel strongly toward the topic
Descriptive language
Strong use of adjectives to describe a person, place, feeling or event
