¿Qué onda?
Informal greeting like ‘What’s up?’ used between friends.

wey also can be written güey. But wey more common
wey is pronounced like the English “Way”

Means ‘in a little bit’, not exactly ‘right now’.

If you say Neta? The person can respond Neta = yes seriously

Literal for ‘waters’, used to warn ‘Be careful!’

Cool, awesome.
Say chida to refer to feminine (like a shirt Camisa)

Expression meaning ‘It is what it is’ or ‘Oh well.’ “Whatever”

Expression of disappointment. Like ‘Dang!’ or ‘Bummer.’

Means ‘Really?’ in disbelief.

Means ‘How cool!’ (Literally ‘What a father!’)

Good vibes, cool person.

Can mean drunk, problem, or situation depending on context.
literally a fart.
Example: ¿Qué pedo? = What’s up? OR Que pedo = you’re angry What’s going on? Estoy pedo = I’m drunk.
Pinche
“F”ing or DAMN.
In Spain it refers to a kitchen helper.
Example: Pinche tráfico. Pinche Gringo = Damn Gringo (bbq restaurant in CDMX called Pinche Gringo)
Gabacho
Vulgar slang for American (especially white American).
Órale
Expression meaning ‘Wow’, ‘Alright’, or ‘Let’s go!’
Ándale
Expression meaning ‘Exactly!’ or ‘That’s right!’
Chingón
Badass, someone or something really awesome.
comes from Chingar which is the F word.
Example: ¡Eres un chingón!
Mandé
Polite way to say ‘What?’ when you didn’t hear someone.
From mandar (to send OR to order).People said to Spaniards Tell/order me
In Mexico used instead of saying Cómo? or less politely Qué? Eg: Mande, no te escucho. What I didn’t hear you.
Chamba
Slang for job or work, often one you don’t like.
Example: Tengo que ir a la chamba.
Huevón
Slang for a lazy person.
Example: No seas huevón.

Song or a Jam. Una rolona = a really good song.
