The nervous system senses the environment and processes information so we can respond
What is the nervous system divided into
CNS, brain, Spinal cord

Cerebellum-coordination of movement

what is a receptor?
A structure that detects a stimulus and turns it into a nerve impulse
what is a Coordinator?
Brain or spinal cord

Structure that responds to a nerve impulse
what is the motor neurone?
A nerve cell that carries impulses from the CNS to the effector
What is the relay neurone?
A nerve cell that carries an impulse from the sensory to the motor in CNS
what is a response?
The change inside and outside of an organism that brings a bout a response
what is a sensory neurone?
The nerve cell that carries nerve impulses from the receptor to CAN in the relay
What is a synapse?
It is a gap between neurones that converts nerve impulses to chemical neurotransmitter

A nerve cell that carries impulses from the receptor to the sensory
