Cytotec is used for abortion, will cause muscle contraction and movements leading to DIARRHEA
I want an abortion, having this baby will be a HEADACHE
GI: abdominal pain and diarrhea (40%)
CNS: Headache
note: administer with meals to decrease risk of diarrhea
You will have less HEADACHE without the baby
what should you avoid while taking cytotec?
Alcohol
note: cytotec causes a lot of GI irritation (diarrhea and abdominal pain), alcohol also causes GI irritation (makes it worse only)
- avoid magnesium - increase diarrhea
can I take antacid before or after cytotec to minimize GI side effects?
Yes
Note: can take before or after cytotec
Avoid magnesium containing antacid may cause more diarrhea
