What is the difference between scale 1 and 2 on the NEWS2 chart

A

Scale 1: patients with normal respiratory function

2: only used under direction when advised by a qualified clinician - patients who are at risk of hypercapnia - too high levels of co2 in blood - COPD, chest wall deformities
