Nocturne is a soft piece the is meant to portray the mysterious calm of the night.
The title ‘Nocturne’ was used before by famous composers such as Chopin, who wrote more that 20 nocturnes.
They generally contain long, flowing melodies and gentle broken chord accompaniments.
