how do feed infants:
formula/breastmilk until when?

no cow’s milk, honey or corn syrup
can start iron-fortified cereal at 4-6M
do not place bottles in microwaves, place in warmer; throw away after 4 hr of being warmed
introduce solid foods at 6M
offer juice in CUP
mix juice with cereal to improve absorption of iron
start with strained, soluble foods: Cheerios
finger foods: 6-7M
chopped foods: 9-12M
one at a time for 3-5 days to ensure no allergy
introduce meat last
nothing chunky or anything that requires chewing
avoid: shellfish, peanuts, eggs, nuts, wheat, citrus, strawberries
