how are contractions timed
from the beginning of one contraction to the beginning of the next
delivery of the baby
- prepare OB kit
- postion mom semi reclined, knees drawn, feet planted
- asses for crowning
- tear sac if hasn’t
- gentle pressure ,
- check for nuchal chord
- suction mouth, then nose
- guide shoulder up then down
- clamp and cut cord once it stops pulsating
