A
  1. First Reading – Introduction and publication in the gazette.
  2. Second Reading – Clause-by-clause discussion and amendments.
  3. Third Reading – Final discussion and voting.
  4. Passage in Second House – Repeats the same three stages.
  5. President’s Assent – Bill becomes law after the President’s approval.

Rajya Sabha can delay an Ordinary Bill by a maximum of 6 months but cannot reject it permanently.
