- Initial examination
- Label deceased
- Obtain verification of death

- Initial Report for Coroner
- Verification of Death
- Deceased Person Identification Form
- Property App
- Statements from people last saw alive, found and can provide history of deceased

How to advise NOK of sudden death
A
- Gather sufficient information to answer questions
- Take another person if required
- Establish identity of NOK
- Tell the news (Don’t used killed or passed away)
- Comfort
