  – Immediately after vigorous exercise
  – Immediately after a bath or sauna

• Measure perpendicular to fold (right angles to the pinch)
• Take measurement 2-4 seconds
• Indirectly measures the thickness of subcutaneous adipose tissue

• 3 to 9 different sites
