Metals conduct electricity, allowing it to move through them.
What does malleability mean in relation to metals?
Malleability means metals can be worked into different shapes.
What is ductility in metals?
Ductility refers to metals being able to be stretched out into wires.
What does sonorous mean when describing metals?
Sonorous means metals make a ringing sound when something hits them.
What is lustre in metals?
Lustre means metals can be polished to make them shiny.
How do metals conduct heat?
Metals are able to absorb and transfer heat (thermal energy).
What is the state of most metals at room temperature?
Most metals are solid at room temperature, with a few exceptions like mercury.
