A
That very small particles(like oxygen ) are constantly moving in random directions.They constantly collide with themselves and with the walls of their container.

Explain how kinetic energy is proportional to temperature.
A
Anything that moves has kinetic energy, if you increase the temperature of a gas, you give it’s particle more energy, so they become faster. If you double the absolute temperature you double the average kinetic energy.
