What’s is the job of the parliament
It is the parliaments job to pass laws for government, country or state.
Upper house knowledge/ senate
Consist of 76 members , 12 from states and territories elect 2 senators that are elected for 6 years, it is referred to as the house of reviews because it review bills passed by the lower house.
Lower house/ House of Representatives
Consist of 150 members, signed for a period of 3 years. It’s job is to pass new laws.
It decides the governing party.
How is government formed
Government is formed by a clear majority in the lower house which is House of Representatives at a federal level and legislative assembly at a state level.
What is a cabinet
The cabinet is a group of senior ministers that is selected by the P.M and the P.Mis a part of the cabinet. Their purpose is to propose new ideas and plans.
