antifreeze, copy machine fluids, windshield washer fluid, paint remover/thinner, improperly distilled alcohol or denatured alcohol
what are the symptoms when you consume methanol?
difficulty breathing, blurred vision/blindness, agitated behavior, coma, abdominal pain

metabolized by liver into formaldehyde to formic acid and leads to metabolic acidosis and tissue injury
