How do visual elements create meaning?
They evoke emotions, convey ideas, and shaping audience perceptions
This is done with the use of colours, layouts, composition etc
What are Stereotypes in media
Steryotypes are oversimplified and usually incorrect images of a mass group
For example a stereotype in media may be race, ethnicity, gender, class etc

Films produced outside the major studio system
What is ment by independent film?
Inpipendant productions normally have a smaller budget for the film and also aren’t produced by a major company like universal. An example of an indipendant film would be I, Daniel Blake
What is vertical integration?
It is a single company that owns and controls all aspects of production, distribution and exhibition.
