Tag Rugby: Turnover
When the attacking team lose possession of the ball and it is given to the defending team.
Tag Rugby: Knock-on
When the ball is accidently dropped and moves in a forward direction.
Tag Rugby: Offload
When a player is able to make a pass just as they are being ‘tagged.’
Tag Rugby: Offside
When defending you must be on your own side when the ball is passed. If you are not, you are offside.
Feedback
The information that a performer receives about their performance, in order to improve.
Tag Rugby: Passing
Pass the ball diagonally across your body from a low to high position.
Tag Rugby: Receiving a pass
Make a target for the ball with your hands evenly spaced in front of you. Watch the ball into your hands.
Tag Rugby: Grubber kick
Eyes on the ball, head over the ball, lean forward, hold the ball in W position.
Strike the ball just before it hits the ground. This kick travels along the ground.

The ability to find, create and invade space
Tag Rugby: Communication
Communicate with your team to keep a straight defensive line
Rounders: Rounder
One point awarded to the batter if they strike the ball and reach 4th base.
Rounders: No Ball
Occurs if there is:
1. no continuous arm action
2. the bowler’s feet are not inside the box, 3. the ball goes to the wrong side of the batter’s body
4. the ball is not the correct height
Rounders: Fielding
The team who is not batting, trying to get the opposing team out.
Rounders: Backstop
Fielder to catch any missed balls or backwards hit.
They also provide a target for
the bowler.

Rounders: Batting (Backhand)
Adjust your stance and bring the bat across your body, striking the ball using a
backhand hit.
Rounders: Bowling
Must bowl under arm. The ball must reach the batter below the top of their head and above their knees.
Rounders: Fielding (Long-barrier)
Get in line with the ball with your whole body behind it.
Bend both knees, twist sideways so that the knee of your strong leg touches the ground and touches the back of the heel of the other leg.
Extend arms downwards, spread hands wide with little fingers touching each other.

Communicate with your team clearly to outwit the opponent, get them out and stop them scoring rounders.

1. What does a batter do with the bat?
- Batters must take their bat with them.

2. Where are the batters allowed to run?
- Batters must run around the outside of the posts.

3. What happens if a batter hits the ball behind?
- If the batter hits it behind, they can only run to first base until the ball crosses the front of the batting box.

4. Do batter stay in contact with the base or not?
- Batters must stay in contact with the base at which they have stopped.
